Ashleigh and Burwood Noir Ore Oil Fragrance Lamp-Burner Review

Mothers day each year can be a gift buying challenge, especially if you are fresh out of ideas. Luckily I had seen some Oil fragrance Burners at the local garden centre when I was out looking for a gift for my wifes birthday and nearly purchased one there for her. I looked online for a review of these Burners which are made by Ashleigh and Burwood of London but was unable to find any real meaningfull reviews. Amazon do stock them but buying something like this online without actually seeing it can be a little hit and miss as the glazed style can mislead you into what you 'think' it will look like.

So the noir version of this Ashleigh and Burwood Oil Fragrance Lamp is simply gorgeous. It was the best of the bunch that we found and the only one left from that style on the shelf. Its from their small range which means its fairly small and will fit in the palm of your hand when you pick it up.

The idea behind these lamps is that you fill them with Fragrance Oil, light the stone and wick and let it burn for about 2 minutes. Blow the wick out and the stone will remain hot and draw the fragrance oil out of the lamp base and into the air as its heated by the stone. As the stone draws the air out of the lamp it sucks air back towards the stone and therefore has a great way of removing odours from the room. I wasnt aware that these lamps had that purpose when we purchased it so it was a great surprise. They also let out a great fragrance which was reinvogorate a room.

The Noir version above is about £25 and then the oil is somewhere in the region of £10 for a large bottle. Spares are litterally everywhere online so you will never be left wanting.

If you are looking for a room fragrancer or deodouriser then look no further than the Ashleigh and Burwood Range of Frangrance Lamps. Check out our video below for the sizes and look of the lamp.
