Voila Wooden Pastries and Tea Set Review

This wooden Pastries and tea set is made by a Thai company called Voila. Its a solid wood pastry and cake cream tea set. There are no cups, saucers or tea pots in this set so it really is a complimentary set that would ideally go with a play kitchen or additional tea set.

That being said it is a great little present on its own. The set comes in a cardboard box printed on all sides with pictures of the contents. There are multiple languages on the box which is fairly common these days as it saves on printing costs and drives the price down. Inside the box is a cake stand which requires assembly. This was really easy with the second teir slotting over the centre stand and that in turn screwing into the lower part of the stand. Inside a bag which also contains the instructions is a screw and a washer which the lower part of the stand uses.

This lower part simply screws into the base. Its really sturdy when built and wont easily topple. In a plastic tray are the 12 pastries that come with the set. You get 2 swiss rolls, 2 peices of battenburg style cake, 2 ring doughnuts, 1 cake with cherry on, 1 slice of chocolate cake, 1 jelly cake, 2 biscuits and 1 jam tart.

The cakes and pastires are all well made and are not going to break as soon as your chil touches them.

The set of for children aged 3 and above. We purchased this set for our neice who was turning 4, we recieved it from Amazon and paid £12.89 for it with Prime shipping.

Product Summary

Price: £12.89

The item is a nice wooden tea set. Its a shame I consider it to be a sideline item as on its own I can see this being a bit boring. Put it together with a proper tea set though and your child will have hours of fun.
